Basic Policy on Information Security (Information Security Policy)

In order to implement our corporate philosophy, Hanshin Expressway (hereafter, "we" or "the company") has established this basic policy on information security aimed at the proper handling and appropriate protection of information assets held by the company in the course of doing business.
We will continuously implement, check, and improve upon security measures based on this policy, aiming to be a safe and stable organization that earns the ongoing trust of our customers and participants.
Our basic policy on information security is outlined below.

1. Scope of application

This basic policy applies to the information assets held by the company in the course of doing business and to all persons using that information (hereafter referred to as "information users").

2. Information security system

We will establish the position of information security officer in the internal organization and build an information security system.

3. Information security measures

In order to ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of information assets, we will implement appropriate measures in terms of physical and environmental security, human security, and technical security.

4. Improvements to information security

In order to ensure the establishment of the information security system and proper implementation of measures, and to ensure compliance with all laws and contract clauses concerning information security measures, we will set internal rules and require information users to comply with them. Also, in order to improve the level of security measures, we will continuously review the internal rules and make efforts to improve them.

5. Education on information security

In order to maintain or improve the level of information security, we will continue to implement necessary education and strive to deepen the understanding of information users concerning related laws and regulations.
